I purchased two secondary regulators from American Science Surplus (Perlick) for my keezer. I daisy chained them together, added a low pressure (30 psi) guage, and "y" splitters with check valves for each outlet and connected it to my primary regulator. I increased the gas from my primary to around 50 psi going into the secondaries. However, I can't seem to control the pressure very well on the secondaries.

1) Is there something I'm missing?
2) Has anyone had any problems with those secondary regulators?
3) Should the guages/outlets go on the screen ports or non-screened ports?

Any help would be appreciated.

I find I have to back the pressures well below the desired setting and then slowly (1/8 turn or less, every few seconds) raise the pressure to what I want.
