Got a keg for christmas, and I put my boddington's clone in it. I used the sugar to carbonate it since I don't have any CO2 yet. The little release valve on top of the keg, do I need to let air out of it every other day or something? Should I just leave it alone? Never kegged before so I'm not sure.

Thanks

I did not know that, looks like I'll be looking for someone in town who sells CO2 today. Thanks

You really need a source of CO2 to seal the keg completely. With that said I wouldn't release the pressure.

It's probably going to be oxygenated and taste bad. You really need the old CO2 when you are kegging. I usually purge the O2 out of the keg with CO2 prior to putting the beer into the keg and definitely purge the head space once the beer is in the keg.
