Coupling Spyder Material-Buna Or Urethane?

Direct coupling the retired JSP Maltmill from MBC/Things Beer to a Bodine.

Minimal price difference-is there a downside to using urethane? Seems like it would be a little better choice, but....?
 
Go with the urethane spyder in the lovejoy shaft coupling, urethane is a bit tougher than the buna n material and will last longer if there is an alignment problem. You can use a straight edge to check alignment of coupling, and move gearmotor to get best vertical and horizontal alignment.
