I just tasted my first batch of Rogue Hazelnut Brown Ale clone (bottled 4 weeks ago) and the hazelnut flavor is too strong. I didn't know how much flavoring extract to put in at bottling and I obviously added too much.
My question is this - can I expect the hazelnut flavor to diminish/mellow over time with bottle aging or am I stuck with what I've got? It's not undrinkable but I can be patient if it's going to get better with a little aging.
