Howdy,

My name is Bob and I have the sickness.

I'm new to this board, though I participate on a few others.
I started brewing a year and a half ago and have 17 AG batches under my belt.
I'm frugal(read cheap), love to tinker and scrounge and I have a Ghetto keggle setup.
I look forward to all the tips and advise.

Cheers,
Bob

Welcome aboard! I am down in Bloomington, if you are ever down this way let me know.

Cheers

Welcome to the board. I lived in Ft Wayne for a couple years too.

Thanks for the welcome!
I had been wanting to do Denny's Rye IPA for a while, then our local brewpub made a batch of RyePA and it rocked! Ding ding ding!
I didn't have the correct yeast available to me at the time so I ended up using Wyeast's Flying Dog VSS yeast. We'll see!

PUI, Woo Bob, I just bottled my DC RIPA, it tasted great even flat! I can't wait until this ages out, it is fantastic! I deviated from the official recipe because I didn't order enough Mt Hood. I had some Cascade on hand, noticed that they were pretty close on the IBU charts, so I used them for the last 2 additions. This beer did not suffer for it, it's unbelievable.
