Dead bugs in new carboy

So this may sound dumb or maybe not. I just got an order of new carboys in and was cleaning them out when I noticed that there were a dozen so small dead bugs inside. I imagine once cleaning with oxy and a star San application and all should be fine. That said, has anyone else seen this and or should I be concerned with using the carboy. Thanks in advance for the peace of mind. Cheers

I just received new glass carboys from Italy and while cleaning with oxy noticed about a dozen small winged dead bugs inside the carboy? After a thorough cleaning and San is there anything to worry about? Never seen this before so wanted to ask the experts. Thanks in advance. Cheers

Don't breath the air inside the carboy....you might get the SARS.

Don't sweat it. I routinely get a few spiders in my bottles if I leave them on the basement floor and forget to box them. Just make sure the carboy is visually clean after Oxyclean then sanitize!
