I decided a few weeks ago that I needed a "lighter" beer for our upcoming new years eve party. One trip to the local brew supply shop, I was on my way. He talked me into this all extract american wheat style beer. I brewed it up on the 13th of this month. I left it in the Primary for 2 weeks.

This past Saturday I put it in the keg fridge to cool it, and get it ready to keg. Then, late sunday night I racked it to the keg, and force carbed at 30 psi. I tried it out last night, and with a couple more days to go on the CO2, it should be a really good beer, just what I was hoping for my friends that "don't like dark beers"

Anyway, here is the recipe. I added the majority of the dry malt extract with 10 minutes left in the boil, and I ended up with a really nice light yellow beer. I used beersmith to tweak the hops and extract additions a little to keep it within the spec I wanted.
