I ordered 6# of Munich LME from Northern Brewer to make a fast red ale. Has anyone used this LME previously?? Any taste/flavor characteristics?

Going to use 1oz EK Golding at 60 and 1oz EKG at flameout.

Yeast SafAle-04.

I have to agree, it's probably Briess extract. Amber extract would have been more to style for a red ale but using the Munich is certainly not a bad idea. I've thought about picking some up to see how well it works for some quick lagers.

I am hoping to get more of a malty character from this (as well as a quick brew day).
I would imagine that the Munich will give the ale more malt character as compared with traditional Amber LME.
