So, I'm looking to do a brew day. I've got a week-old lager yeast starter that is still viable (been in the fridge) Some EC-1118 and a Lalvin red wine yeast.

The LHBS in my area are closed, with the exception of one who only carries premixed kits and wine kits.

This leaves me with the grocery store options.

I'm thinking about trying to lager a cider... thoughts or suggestions for this or other ideas?
 
I just bottled some dark cider today that I made using one pound of dark brown sugar per gallon of juice and made some mulled cider with cinnamon, clove, and anise with the two cups I had left over. I would definitely recommend making something similar. I would go with the EC-1118.
