Greetings everyone. I am totally new to brewing. My first thoughts were to brew beer, but with the apple season here, I decided on cider. I just started a five gallon batch on Friday and hope that it turns out ok.

I usually drive by Block's about once a week. I am just north of the airport in Wayne.
 
Thanks to all for the warm welcome. I haven't brewed any beer yet, which was my initial intent. But I do have 10 gal of cider brewing.
I was thinking about running down to Dundee this weekend to pick up some of the Amber Bock wort that they are brewing this month.
