Currently my favourite commercial beer, and I'm bloody lucky that these lads are local, so every store around here carries fresh sixers of it. But I need to brew this weekend, and this is on my radar.
I know Morebeer carries a kit for this, but was wondering if anyone's had a whack off creating a recipe from scratch? From what I've been able to gather the hops are Columbus and Cascade for dry hopping, but there's gotta be more to them than that. (Morebeer's site says 6 hop additions)
Malt seems a bit easier - 7%, and it's a nice light amber colour, and it's got a decent malty backbone, more so than other IPAs. Am thinking for a 10 gallon batch...
15lbs 2-Row
5lbs Munich
2lbs 40L
1lb Carapils
Maybe some Victory?
Any thoughts?
