I'm look for a good Red Ale kit for my first brew. I was eying Midwest's Irish Red kit and it seems to get pretty good reviews on their site. Does anyone have experience with this kit or can you recommend me a kit that you've had success with?! Thanks!

Kris

That was my first brew as well, it turned out pretty good. Just follow ALL directions and it will turn out good. Good Luck, and welcome to homebrewing.:mug:

I am almost finished drinking a batch Midwest's Boston Red Ale, and I can highly recommend it. If I am not mistaken, this is a less intense red ale than is an Irish Red.

Listermanns Red Ale is a stand by for me when I need to brew an extract.
I've had very good results and feedback.
