My first time formulating my own recipe, thoughts?

Experimental Brown

4 lbs of Light LME
2 lbs of 2-row Pale Malt
1 lbs 5 oz of Caramel 60L
8 oz of Roasted Barley
5 oz of Chocolate Malt

2oz of Cascade 60 min
.5 oz of Cascade 15 min
.5 of Cascade 1 min

Going with Danstar Nottingham yeast because the fear of doing a starter still has firm grasp.

So what say you? Fits the style? Boring? Looks good enough?

it will make a fine beer as is, but I think you have enough roasted barley to push it more into stout/porter territory (unless you have the 300 L stuff from Briess). I'd probably back down the roasted barley and up the chocolate.

I like less crystal malt, but then I don't want my beers to have much sweetness.

Otherwise looks solid, hope it turns out well.
