My instructions say that my wort needs to be cooled rapidly. If I stuck it outside for a bit in the winter cold would it harm my beer? It is capped. Its actually outside right now.........Should I pitch yeast as soon as I bring it in?

Its outside, but the snow is to frozen to surround it. Its in a 5 gallon bucket fermentor. It was about 150 when I through it in, The wort looked better than any batch that I have made. Theres so many things to worry about.......I dont want to spoil my baby. Its an English Brown Ale. Should I fill the tub real fast?

Thanks for the info. You have been a great help........I actually pulled it to the tub from last response.........Just letting it chill and I am going to check the temp. You have made my first impression on this forum. And it was *****!!!!(Thats 5 star)
