Last month i posted for help with wy2272. Not much help returned. OP here. Well, Saturday i was digging in the back of my yeast fridge, and Woo Hoo, a Pitri of wy2272 labled 2/17/07. I fed it and it came up! Yes! An obsolete yeast still lives!
