I had the brilliant idea this weekend to alter my newly appointed house pale ale to the season...
Mine has a base of 2-row so I basically just switch out the the featured specialty grain for darker and lighter kilned malts and increase / decrease the caramel malt according to the season.
Along with this I switch up the hops used to reflect; eg. Chinook for winter, Sorachi Ace for Summer, Cascade for spring, Simcoe for Fall.
Anyone else do this? I'm psyched to brew them all now and get these down so I can start brewing them at scheduled times annually!
