Hi Team,

So ignoring cost for this discussion (boy wouldn't it be nice if we could do this in the real world). We have two options:

OPTION ONE:
1) a Decent BIAB system Like Brew Boss, Colorado Brewing or High Gravity like these:

http://www.brew-boss.com/default.asp

or

http://www.cobrewingsystems.com/collections/frontpage/products/single-vessel-electric-brew-system-ebiab

or

http://www.highgravitybrew.com/store/pc/BIAB-Electric-Brewing-System-120V-269p4647.htm

2) Plus a temp controlled conical

OPTION TWO:
1) A BIAC system like sold by Brewha or Brau Supply.

http://brausupply.com/collections/pro-systems

or

http://brewhaequipment.com/products/biac-package?variant=5242368257

So Ignoring cost, which option would you chose and why? ...A BIAB and a Temp controller Conical or a BIAC with temp control for fermentation?

Thanks in advance for your inputs and thoughts....

If I understand the BIAC correctly and if you only brew and ferment one batch at a time then the BIAC would be a better option IMO because its less things to clean.

If I somehow would win one of these in a sponsor give-away...hint hint austin :D

definately one of the Ebiab systems, as being only able to have one beer fermenting at a time is a bit of a bummer if you have a few friends who also drink...

I would assume that one could rack the wort (or beer) out of the conical into a carboy if you needed space to brew another batch.

I think you could but I would ALWAYS be transferring out of the conical!! So why pay extra for the conical.

Besides that I have about 8 plastic fermenters and about $25 each (BOGOs). about $200 7 are in production right now. 7 Biac = about $21,000 + shipping!!!

OP - so seeing what I just said ----- BIAB all the way.

Option one, for sure. But I would get a Brau Supply 2 x 1500 watt, 11 gallon for $665 before dropping more coin on one of the others.
