Hey guys, my first time coming up with my own recipe and decided to try for a black IPA.
This is what i have so far:
US Victory Malt 0.50 lb Steeped
US Chocolate Malt 0.50 lb Steeped
US Caramel 80L Malt 0.50 lb Steeped
US Black Malt 0.25 lb Steeped
Extract - Light Liquid Malt Extract 3.00 lb Start Of Boil
Extract - Light Liquid Malt Extract 4.00 lb End Of Boil
Extract - Light Dried Malt Extract 1.50 lb End Of Boil
Hops
US Chinook 10.5 % 1.00 oz All Of Boil (60min)
US Chinook 10.5 % 0.50 oz 30 Min From End
US Willamette 4.5 % 1.50 oz 15 Min From End
US Willamette 4.5 % 0.50 oz At turn off
US Cascade 4.5 % 2.00 oz Dry-Hopped
Beer Alchemy Says:
Expected OG: 1.071 SG
Expected FG: 1.016 SG
Expected ABV: 7.3 %
Expected IBU (using Tinseth): 67.4 IBU
Expected Color (using Morey): 28.0 SRM
Thoughts/Suggestions?
