Consolidating Batches?

Hi,

I was wondering about consolidating my two batches of elderberry wine. It would make it easier to handle during the secondary and tertiary stages.

The wine was made with the same recipe and only one day apart.

What would be the advantages or disadvantages of doing this?

Well, there aren't really any advantages or disadvantages to speak of. If you need the carboy, or if you have a few extras of a certain size, it doesn't matter if you combine them or not. You just want to make sure you minimize any headspace in whatever size container you choose.
