I just did a one gallon batch of hard cider 3 weeks ago and the fermentation has just about completed and the cider is now starting to clear up.
I've read someplaces that say let it fully clear, then add priming sugar then bottle.
Other places say add priming sugar once fermentation stops and bottle. Letting the cider condition and clear up in the bottle.
Has anyone followed either direction and found a preference? I realize this isn't exactly "beer" but it's similar.
