hops stopped climbing

My Mt. hood bines have climbed to about 12 feet but today I noticed that both of the highest shoots have stopped winding around the rope and are just hanging down about 12 inches. is this normal or should I climb up and start winding them again, It has been real windy the past few days I am afraid they will break.

They should start winding themselves back around the rope, I have seen this many times on mine when it gets windy, and they always find the rope again, hope this answers your question.
