So I had to deviate just a little from edworts origional recipie. I couldnt find dextrose and didnt dare use regular table sugar so I used Honey instead.

My question is has anyone used honey before and how much longer did it take to ferment down to your FG?

Original was 5 gal apple juice w/ 2lbs dextrose.

Mine assuming 2/3 sugar content for honey was 5 gal apple juice and 3lbs honey.

Ive made a couple cysers and meads and they take a hella long time to ferment all the way down... damned slow honey.

I doubt it will take any longer. It might even taste better if you like cysers. Yeast is notorious for being unpredictable though.
