I know nothing about making cider (only beer), but my sisters and mother insist that I try to make them something similar to this drink. I make my brother and dad beer, so I think I should make something for my mom and sisters.

I appreciate any help. Thanks

I think that getting some good juice (I bet Cider from a local orchard or if you have to, organic from the grocery store would work best) and using ec-1118 should produce good cider. If you check out the ratings of the yeast by Appleyard, 1118 rates about as well as the code named "George" yeast. It seems that the "George" yeast may be what Hornsbys uses (eg George Hornsby)... but is never declared.

Good luck, and if you get it to taste similar (or better :) ), let us know.
