So I am interested in starting to farm my own yeast. I am buying some slants to start with since my space is limited. Now I need to step these up for a 5gal batch? I've checked the stickies and they are great on how to make slants, but 1 slant is not enough for a 5gal batch. Can someone point me to a guide on going from the slant to what I need to pitch please?

What you need to research is yeast starter. Tons of info out there. Lots on this site.
