Has anyone ever tried to re-use the 750 mL belgian style bottles from Unibroue? If so, what type of cork did you use? I suspect that the plastic champagne corks won't work since they seem a little loose in the bottle. I just wanted to know if the standard belgian corks for sale at morebeer (MoreBeer | Belgian Corks (100)) or at NorthernBrewer (NORTHERN BREWER: Bottling) would work in these bottles?

Cheers,

Greg

I can confirm for you that the plastic champagne stoppers do not fit. Tried it. They do however fit in the bottles from Ommegang.

As to he corks question. Yes I believe that is what they are intended for. You will need a floor corker though.
