- Citra Honey IPA
8# pale 2 row
4# vienna
2# victory
1# cara 40
Mash @ 157
1oz centennial FWH
1oz citra @ 20/15/5/0
12oz "Nature's Promise Wildflower Organic Honey" @ 5min
Primary 7 days
1oz citra dry hop (whole leaf)
(irish moss added @ 15 and gelatin added to keg)
This is a wonderfully citra forward IPA. The nose is very pungent with citrus and fruit and the bitterness is perfectly balanced with a bit of a honey aftertaste. At 6.8% The Honey Badger will sneak up on you after a couple. So far, this is the recipe I'm most proud of....I'll include a picture if you want. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers!
