Hey, i've never added oranges to my brews....

So far i've gathered that you should only add the "peels" to your fermenting beer...... Is this right?

2nd question is How much should i add to a 5 gallon batch? Would any oranges do? thanks for any comments.....- Al

The Curacao Dried bitter orange peels which may be found at almost any LHBS is preferred.

I suggest no more then a total of one once per 5 gallon batch. What are you considering to brew?

If you start with oranges, use just the zest, which is the orange part of the rind.
