Just got back from the Bangor Brewfest. Now, I know that Bangor, Maine is the Eastern End of the World, but there were 20 breweries there. There were quite a few really excellent brews to sample, but IMHO, the class of the samples were from Unibroue brewery from Quebec. They had 2- 'La Fin du Monde' and 'Maudite'. I'm not normally a fan of Belgian styles, but OMG these were unbelievable, especialy the 'Fin du Monde. Only brewery I went back twice. And as soon as I got home I went to my local packie to see if they had any -YES!
