Started to experiment with Root Beer recipes for the kids. Currently I use a keg-a-rator, and am wondering if I need to add a yeast to the root beer for carbonation or will the keg-a-rator supply carbonation when I pour.

Great article and very easy to understand. Thanks for the help, I'll make the batch before I go on vacation and then when I get back Root Beer floats for everyone 
Just make sure you set the PSI sufficiently high enough. Soda uses much higher pressures for carbonation than beer does.
