Brewing my first AG tomorrow, and I'm just curious what to expect for boiloff percentage/hour, as I'd like to end up with no less than 11 gallons.

Thanks

I have BeerSmith software installed, and it defaulted to 9% per hour evaporation loss. The adjustment range runs from 5% to 15%, if that helps. It all depends on how vigorously you boil.

I would figure on at least 15%. My percentage is higher but I attribute it to my kettle which is 18" wide.

10 to 15 % per hour depending on ambient humidity. You can top off the boiler with water the last 10 to 15 minutes if you are low as it is still boiling and will sanitize that water too.
