I did a DMaDH pale last weekend.

Simple grain bill
95% cargill special pale
5% C40

I kept the gravity modest at 1.052.

For hops i did the classic piney grapefruit combo of cascade + centennial.
30 IBU of Centennial.
45 minute steep of 8oz Cascade + 2oz centennial.

I suspect this is going to be tasty and highly consumable.
 
@OP, I know you said you had some -05 to use, but if you need some thing fast in the future maybe try WLP007. I made a few beers recently with that yeast and it was already done and dropping clear at 4 or 5 days with 1050 beers. They were clean too when fermented at 68F.
 
I finally got around to brewing this today. I went with 10 pounds of marris otter and 1 oz. Cascade at 60, 1 oz at 15 and 1/2 oz. at 5. I'm fermented with a us05 starter. I can't wait to try it.
