Anyone know of a suitable substitution for Nottingham Dry Yeast? I am planning on my first 11 gallon batch of Haus's Pale Ale this Friday night, but NB is out of Nottingham. :(

The US-05 will make a nice Pale Ale for you. It's what EdWort recommends as a sub, as well.

everybody is out of Nottingham... buhhh.......

Hops shortage? check
Dwindling Barley supply due to alternative fuel demand? check
Limited availability of some yeast? check
Water? Thank goodness we still have plenty of this great stuff.

Is it just me or do we need to start stockpiling our precious beer ingredients before they all run dry?
