Who else I tired of it.... Busted another hydrometer yesterday when it rolled down into the sink during the process of cleaning everything up after brewing an oatmeal stout! Thank the good lord I had already got my SG reading. Is there such a thing as a durable hydrometer, or do I just bite the bullet and buy a refractometer? This makes like 5 busted hydrometer's for my and I have only been brewing a little over a year!
Tired of breaking hydometers!!

Sounds like opperator error
My hydro is one of those things that when I'm done with it, it gets cleaned, dried and put away so it doesn't get left to roll around on its own. I have broken one when it slipped. I now have a primary and a backup that have been around quite a while
