The first year I had the plants the small harvest was extremely aromatic; better than opening a fresh bag of pellets. It was amazing.

The first round of hops I picked this year don't have any of that aroma at all. I'm pretty certain they were mature, but my first guess is that they weren't quite there yet.

Can anyone confirm they should have a strong hop odor? Thoughts?

Mine usually don't have an overly powerful aroma until I break them open or they've been sealed in the bag for a few months. If yours don't smell like grass, then you should be okay.
