Total grains: 8.75 lbs. Mash temp: 155
1. Heat about 10.8 quarts(about 2.5 gallons) to 160degree water on stove top. Add all crushed grains in large grain bag to pot of 160degree water. Closely watch and measure temp and adjust heat for 30minutes to keep as close to 155 as possible
2. After 30minutes take out grain bag and add to a second pot of 155degree water(2.5gallon). do the same as above
3. Remove grain bag after 30minutes and put in strainer bucket. Pour about 2gallons(doing full boil so need extra water for evaporation) of boiling water over it and let run off into brew pot. Throw out grains
4. Add the wort from the other 2 pots to boil pot for a total of about 6-7gallons. Continue brew day as usuall
