I want to invest in a wort chiller the only issue is whether to buy a 25 foot or a 50 foot one. I know the 50 foot one is for larger batches like 10 gal. or more. I hope to get on to that size batches soon, but as of right now I am only doing 5 gallon full boils. I am still boiling in a turkey fryer but plan on getting a keggel eventually. Will there be any problems if I just plan for the future and buy a 50 footer?

The batch may not be high enough in the boiler to immerse chiller for sterilization. You may need to sterilize in another pot that covers chiller and transfer to boiler.

im surprised no one mentioned a CFC yet. 25 ft CFC is big enough for any batch right?
