My first batch of beer is ready today (hooray!). It's a Coffee Oatmeal Stout. The instructions say to drink at 55F. If I take it out of the fridge, how long do I wait until it comes up to 55? It's about 65 in my house.

Depends on the temperature of your fridge, how long the beer's been in there, and the shape/size/thickness/material of your glass.

Honestly, I'd just pull it out of the fridge and have a sip every now and then until it tastes best to you.

What Rick said - but take a couple out of the fridge and let them warm while you enjoy the first. If you find you like them cooler, you can always put them back in.

Congrats on the first brew!
