My son had a Baltika #5 and went nuts over it. I have never heard of it, but he asked if I could find a recipe. Anyone know anything about this beer?

I believe these are russian brews found at central market or sprouts (in Texas). I have tried the #5 and #7, and both are smooth, easy drinking beers. On a side note, good to hear from you again ohiosteve, havent seen you on the boards for a while.

Thanks guys. Deuce, I have been on, just not posting a lot until today lol.

According to http://www.tatianasbeverages.com/pdfs/Baltika%20Pages.pdf it has water, light barley malt and caramel malt, maltose syrup, and hops. I had it when I was in Russia a couple of years ago, and I don't recall the hops being too present, so probably something along the lines of Saaz.
