I just got some BG14s for a new stand I’m designing but was wondering about the regulator to use. Currently I have 20psi fixed regulators that are controlled by a needle valve. I also notice there is a 30 psi variable regulator available. What are people using with these burners? I’m not going the propane manifold route but will be hooking each burner up to its own tank.

This is the one I’d like to use since it has the nice stainless line on it:

Here is the adjustable one (maybe I can find an SS hose for it too):

I have a similar question. Anyone? Is it necessary to use a needle valve with an adjustable regulator? With a KAB4.

I have both an adjustable regulator and one with a needle valve.

It makes zero difference, use whatever is cheaper.
