I cracked into my Belgian Trippels recently and noticed a real lack of carbonation.

Granted they have only been in the bottle for anout 2.5 weeks but I expected there to be more bubbles...relatively flat.

I obviously need to give them more time but I thought they would be real close to done.

Is this because of the high sugar content....OG 1.080...FG 1.020 or could there be a problem?

My Tripel took the better part of 3 motnhs to carb. Just had one yesterday (bottled August 19th - 8.2%), and the carbonation is now perfect.
