I have a quick question I hope someone can answer or at least give me a good estimation.
This is my 8th brew so far. But anyway, my issue is this, when I siphoned my hot wort into my primary fermenter the temperature was about 102 degrees F and the SG was 1.032. After a day's cooling I forgot to take a REAL SG measurement and just pitched my yeast. I didn't realize it until a few days after fermentation started so I figured I missed my opportunity.
Given the prior SG reading of a hot wort, can I find an ACTUAL (or best estimate) SG? Is there a formula for finding it at such a hot reading?
Thanks
