Trying to force carbonate for the first time and used the following method: 24 hours at 30 psi (did not shake), purged keg and set to 12 psi for 4 days.

We tapped it today and it's still under carbonated...is there anything we can do to get more carbonation? Looking to drink it today:mug:

Put the gas back on and shake the keg until it stops taking gas. Make sure you use the right pressure for the temperature that the beer is at and your desired carbonation level.

What temperature was the beer at when you had it sitting on 12 psi?

It was at about 40* when sitting at 12 psi.

It's an IPA...what psi should we set it to when shaking it?

I'm guessing you didn't have it on the gas long enough. 12 psi should have given you around 2.5 volumes of CO2, which is appropriate for an IPA.

I think you just need to put it back on the gas and either shake it to carbonate it faster, or let it sit for a while longer until it's done.
