Well, I looked at the FAQ and searched, but didn't see anything. I might be missing it, but I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good book on mead making?
I've got a few batches of beer under my belt and my first batch of cider is taking off, but I'm really anxious to try a batch of mead. I've sampled a few different commercial meads over the years and enjoyed them. Also, while I can't get her to try my beer, I know SWMBO enjoy's both cider and mead.
+10 to the Compleat Meadmaker! If you're getting more adventurous in your beer brewing and interested in starting mead you might also try Radical Brewing by Randy Mosher. It is mostly beer but has a faily good chapter on Meads and Braggot including some very good recipies like Chucks Atomic Fireball Mead. You might check it out too.
