I have some apfelwein brewing and i guess i filled the carboys a bit too high and the airlocks i noticed today have junk in them from the fermenting...should I change them out or is it not to worry?

Thanks,
Daum

Nothing to really worry about but if it makes you feel better change them out, I would, but who am I, not like my opinion matters any.

Cheers

My opinion: as long as stuff is going OUT of the airlock, nothing is going in.
When you see fermentation slowing, I'd start changing them out.
This way, you'll have a good high (and mostly clean) bubbler when fermentation stops.
