Tasting Notes
Pale hoppy ale with a dry finish and a good tropical aroma.
I called this originally stag ale (later Stag Galactico) as I brewed it for a friend's stag do. It was hoppy and dry, with a lot of fresh tropical fruit character and a bitterness that was just right. Ended up with 5% abv and 45 IBU. I made two versions, the second one had extra dry hop in cask (in addition to dry hopping in the fermentor) and worked better.

Mash (low-medium temp): 7.3lb Maris Otter (or 2row), 1.7lb wheat malt, 0.45lb Munich malt, 0.2lb British Caramalt.

60 minute boil:
60 - 1/2oz of Dana
25 - 1/5oz of Amarillo
15 - 1/4oz of Amarillo, 1/4oz of Galaxy & Irish Moss
5 - 1/2 oz of Amarillo, 1/3oz of Galaxy
0 - 1/2 oz of Galaxy (steep)

Dry hop (preferably in cask) with 1oz of Galaxy, 2/3oz of Cascade and 1/2oz of Amarillo.
