Canada, eh!
New to using the "waterlock" airlock, the squiggly thing instead of the two-piece airlock I usually use. Figured I'd switch it up a bit.

Question:

How full do you fill it?!?!

There are the two bubble chambers, one on each side. I would guess fill the right side (immediate chamber out of the carboy) and not the left side?

Duh.....

Actually, if it's the one I'm thinking of, there is a line. Just hold it up to the light, and you should see the line. Fill it to the line, and it should be equal on both sides. Once you put it on the fermenter, the pressure will push it to one side.

If there's no line, fill it until it's just under 1/2 full in both sides (with no pressure). That way it's less prone to possible suck back. Those kind I fill before I put it on the fermenter.
