My brother in law loves the stuff and I want to make him a batch for his birthday ... Any one have a good PM or Extract Recipe?

Ya ... Been Googling around ... BUt finding AG recipes ... Looking for a PM or extract :(

should be easy enough to convert to PM or extract. Figure out how much fermentables the pale malt adds and use the equal amount of pale extract. If you are going to need to mash some of the extras, do a mini mash on the stove and figure like 50-60% efficiency with the adjuncts. Look at the bottom of that thread... there is a real nice in depth recipe there. Hops can be whatever... you're looking for a basic low AA hop. Saaz is readily available and would probably work great.

easy, based on that recipe, just mash:
2 lbs 6-row
2 lbs flaked corn

and use 2 lbs of pilsner liquid malt extract

or, go with my cream ale PM recipe:

mash:
1 lbs flaked corn
1 lbs flaked wheat
0.5 lbs Vienna Malt
2 lbs 6-row

and use 2 lbs pilsner LME

i use fuggle and saaz in my brew.

You'll need to convert it to extract but this is a dead ringer (was also a Big Brew Beer a few years ago)

why would they? cream ales can be quite tasty. i thought urine jokes were reserved for BMC.

I agree...after brewing Biermuncher's Centennial Blond which is pretty much a cream ale, that there are pretty tasty.

Besides in the pre bmc days, there were plenty of creme ales brewing brewed by small regional breweries...In fact isn't genny one of the few that survived?
