hi all this is my first post and attempt at brewing mead have been doing alot or reading around the subject and just wondered if anyone has found or tried any recipes using chocolate and rasberrys or strawberrys ? am planing to try 2 1gallon batches 1 strawberry and 1 rasberry looking for a storng sweet fruity mead i am a bit stuck on the recipe tho so was looking for some tips or inspiration
was planning a melomel starting like this
4/4.5 pounds honey per gallon
2.2 pounds strawberrys or rasberrys
5g lavlin 1118
pectolase
yeast nutrient
was planning on useing cocao nibs or powder(nesquick?) im unsure as to when i need to use the nibs primery secondery or terciery. as i said im quite new to this so im open to suggestions or advice
