How soon must I use a swollen Wyeast British Ale II pack? Next day OK?

Ran into a problem and can't brew this evening. What should I do with my somewhat swollen yeast pack until I can brew tomorrow morning? Will viability be affected if I postpone?

Next day is fine. I've smacked a pack a day early with no ill affects. If you want to make a starter that's even better. Try to keep the pack out of light and away from a heat sour e if possible. A pantry works for me.

You can put it back into the fridge if you wish. Just give it enough time to warm up before you pitch it into the wort tomorrow. OR, make a starter tonight and give the yeast something to munch on until you pitch it in tomorrow...
