I was just looking at my four year old, well established hops plants. They are doing very well and produce a good crop. I have my five varieties spaced about three feet apart and work to keep the crowns separated. I have room on my wall for more bines to climb. My question, can I have more than one climbing rope for each crown?

Yes, many people grow their bines up two lines in a V shape from a single crown.
Here's a 3-way. A few years back I had it going up 5 poles with a great harvest. I feel that as home growers, we can manage our crowns with a little more tlc than someone with many acres and are able to get a little bit more out of each one.
